Features

Suitable for cryotherapy or thermotherapy

  • Remain hot or cold for at least 45-60 minutes
  • Suitable for temperature between -20°C and 100°C
  • Remain flexible and anatomically mould to the area to which they are applied, even after they have become cold.
  • Can be heated with hot water or in the microwave.
  • Washable

Instructions for use for cryotherapy:

  • Place the pack in the freezer for at least 10-20 minutes prior to use (depending on the size of the pack.)

Instructions for use for thermotherapy:

  • Immerse the pack in hot water with a maximum temperature of 80°C for 10-20
    minutes (depending on the size of the pack)
  • Alternatively, place the pack in the microwave at 800W for 25-60 seconds (depending on the size of the pack and the microwave), ensuring that the gel is uniformly distributed inside the pack
  • Wait at least 1 minute before applying the pack.

Precautions

  • Do not use patches without the advice of a physician, particularly in cases of post-operative trauma
  • The thermotherapy-cryotherapy regimen is to be selected by the treating physician.
  • The length of application and the frequency of the treatment are to be determined by the treating physician.
  • Their use if contraindicated without the advice of a doctor in diabetic patients who suffer from vascular or circulatory problems, lymphedema, who exhibit itching, numbness, or have burns.
  • For external use only.
  • Maximum length of treatment 20 minutes
  • Clean the area to be applied well prior to using the pack.
  • Always use a thin piece of cloth between your skin and the pack.
  • If the pack has straps, ensure these are tied loosely so that blood circulation is not restricted.
  • Use by children requires the supervision of an adult.
  • If the packs are punctured or their contents become dense and hard, they are rendered unusable and must be discarded
  • The contents of the packs must not come into contact with the skin or eyes, in this case rinse with plenty of water. If irritation persists, seek medical advice.
